Your data stays with you.
Sipline is built to work without an account, without ads and without tracking you. This page explains plainly what we collect — and, more importantly, what we don't.
01 Who we are
Sipline is published by Sipline SAS, a company registered in France (RCS Paris, share capital €1,000), headquartered at 12 rue de la Soif, 75011 Paris. Contact: nenad@keeponapps.com.
For the purposes of the GDPR, Sipline SAS is the data controller for the limited data that does pass through our servers (payment, support emails).
02 What we do NOT collect
The app works offline by default. That means, at no time, do we have access to:
- Your drink entries, amounts, timestamps or daily goals.
- Your weight, age, or Apple Health data.
- Your GPS location, contacts, or address book.
- Your advertising identifiers (IDFA) — the app never asks for them.
03 What we collect, and why
04 Apple Health
If you enable it, Sipline reads your weight (to compute your recommended water goal) and writes your water intake back to Apple Health. This exchange happens entirely on your iPhone — none of it transits our servers. You can revoke access any time from Settings → Health → Data Sources.
05 Sub-processors
Sipline relies on a deliberately short list of vendors:
- Apple Inc. — App Store distribution, payments, App Store Connect (USA / EU).
- Sentry GmbH — anonymous crash reports (EU), only if you opt in.
- Plausible Insights OÜ — cookieless usage analytics (EU), only if you opt in.
None of these vendors receive your hydration data. No data is transferred outside the EU without an appropriate legal framework (Standard Contractual Clauses).
06 Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to, restrict and port your data. Because we hold almost nothing about you, exercising these rights is quick: email nenad@keeponapps.com — we reply within 30 days.
You can also file a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL — cnil.fr.
07 Cookies
This website (sipline.app) uses no cookies, no advertising trackers and no social pixels. If you see a consent banner, something has gone wrong — let us know.
08 Changes
This policy may evolve to reflect new features or legal obligations. Any material change will be notified in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect.
09 Contact
